Monthly Storytelling & Dinner

The 1000-year-old tradition of storytelling was practised in public squares in cities across Morocco and began in Marrakech when it was a young city growing with abundance from the gold and spice trades. 

Storytelling was used for many purposes including sharing moral lessons and values, cultural beliefs and as a form of entertainment for the people. We love it here at Riad Botanica and invite you to come and experience it yourself.

Description

Storytelling in Marrakech storytellers are legends, as documented in Richard Hamilton‘s book The Last Storytellers. This exclusive event takes place in our Riad and is complimented by in-Riad Dining. Spend a couple of hours of listening to a traditional Marrakech story whilst eating, relaxing and enjoying a rich cultural and culinary experience.

Our chef prepares the dinner menu, including a starter, main course and dessert.

We cater for vegetarians, vegans and gluten-free options.

Our prices start at €60 Euro per person (min 6 pax)
