The owner and host, Mohamed is so kind and friendly, and makes sure you are well taken care of. As I was a solo female traveler on my first trip to Morocco, the kind gestures made me feel safe, including that my first day, he called to check on me as I had been exploring the city all day long.

The interior decoration is absolutely breathtaking, and the sound of the sweet birds in the courtyard make it seem like the perfect peaceful respite from the bustling city. The rooms are gorgeous, the showers amazing.

Also- the staff deserves 10 stars! Fatima, the chef cooks an amazing breakfast each day. It was literally my favorite part of each day! The lunch and dinner were also amazing at Riad Botanica! (Even tho I tried other restaurants in the city, by far - Fatima’s cooking was my favorite). And the sweet housekeeping lady, Sanaa was also wonderfully kind and always smiling. 🙂

The rooftop is beautiful and such a peaceful place to read a book and lounge.

Location is perfect in my opinion! Close enough to walk to most of the museums. Walk to the souks. Yet, I did appreciate that is was not too close to the Jemaa el-Fnaa square- which is a very busy place. I could still walk there in about 25mins

  AMAZING! The best part of the Medina! - We were a bit hesitant before booking 5D4N in a riad we've never been to but we can tell you it was the best choice ever and this riad did... read more not disappoint one bit! First, we were greeted by Muhammad the owner where we dropped off and had a quick walk to the riad. When you walk in, you can already smell a mix of herb and citrus and this is the same throughout the riad. It's like walking into a whole new different place compared to the somewhat plain streets in the medina.

We loved the cleanliness of the hotel and although the room was small as you would expect from all riads, it was very comfortable with strong AC and again it smelled great. Most importantly, the bed was SO comfortable and I can say this bed is equivalent to most of the 5-star hotel beds. The shower amenities were great too and they even have a vase of fresh roses in the room. Yes, the room can be dark but you don't really spend the day in the room anyway, since you will be busy exploring the medina or outside at the pool area and the rest of the raid, which is super Instagrammable with the design and all.

On food - Muhammad was there every day and shared great local food recommendations (not the touristy ones) and was super helpful with whatever we needed (e.g. water, early breakfast etc.). Breakfast was one of the bests we had in Morocco with great variety - and we looked forward to it every morning! In addition, we also find the staff there very welcoming.

I will definitely recommend Riad Botanica who is going to Marrakech for the first time as I can reassure you they won't be disappointed. Thanks for the great service and stay Muhammad and we hope to come back again!

The riad is also well located. A few minutes walk to the souks etc.
